How to detect a burnout and support yourself through it

Burnouts can have different symptoms:

1. Physical symptoms (illness such as headaches, digestion problems, fatigue, sleep or appetite disruption)

2. Emotional symptoms (feeling down, helpless, feeling like a failure, having self doubts, decreased satisfaction, feeling alone or detached from others and lack of motivation)

3. Behaviours signs (reduced performance in every day tasks, withdrawal and self-isolation from social network, procrastination, emotional outbursts and high dependency on external influences i.e. addiction)

To overcome:

- Pause and give yourself a space and time to assess how you feel 

- Support yourself through nutrition, additional diet support, rest / sleep and move your body and speak to someone you trust

- Seek professional support
